Shopping for Bags/Handbags...

I got this from a book and I think I should share it with you. Who does not want a perfect bag right? So firstly, you have to assess how much the bag weighs when empty. If you are like me, I schlep around significantly more than a day's essentials (like my 2 purse, a make up bag, a card holder, pens holder, 2 phones, set of keys and a small note book), which it can be quite heavy! So, you have to make sure that you are starting with a piece of leather or canvas that does not weigh several kilos. And beware of the extraneous hardware. (Making our partner to carry it for us, is so not cool or good solution). When you are at the store, take out all the paper stuffing, and put the contents from your own bag in there. Does it all fit? Does the bag hang well? If it does, then.. IT'S OK TO HAVE IT!

Another thing, make sure you are considering all the minors like : Are you putting your laptop in there? Do you walk a lot? (If yes, a cross-body satchel is a good solution for hauling a lot of weight over a long period of time, apart from allows us to keep our hands free and it's also good for travelling. I personally think Alexa from Mulberry is a good travelling bag, can be used as shoulder, hand and sling). Do you leave your pens in the bag uncapped? (If yes, we can get either black or navy for the inner).

Try that and happy shopping!
